FFY24 AFG Awards

RNC is happy to announce that announce that 3 out of 5 of its FFY24 AFG applications were awarded as of the 9/30/25 awards deadline! Congrats to all who received awards. To those who did not, keep your eyes peeled for that turn-down notice once it comes out after the federal government shut-down is over. Make sure you request a personal turndown debriefing – they are extremely helpful!

DE Project Concludes!

RNC LLC is grateful to have worked in partnership with FACETS LLP on an important project for the fire service over the last two years (September 2023 – September 2025). USFA released the update to Funding Alternatives for Emergency Medical and Fire Services (FA-360) in October 2023

RNC LLC is excited to announce that USFA has officially published the update to Funding Alternatives for Emergency Medical and Fire Services (FA-360). RNC LLC was the principal writer on this 10-year update to this important publication in partnership with FACETS LLP. FFY22 & FFY23 FEMA AFG, SAFER & FP&S

As many know, FEMA concluded its FFY22 awards as of 9/30/23 for all programs. RNC is pleased to report its application for Richmond VA Fire was awarded! The $867,909 award will fund 5 civilian fire inspectors over 2 years. Turndown notices should be distributed shortly and then applicants can request a debriefing. FFY23 cycles are set to release early January, beginning with the usual first, AFG. Start prepping now!

FFY22 FEMA AFG & SAFER

To my fellow FEMA grant writers and applicants – we survived the first two programs: AFG and SAFER! Good luck to all those who applied. RNC LLC was honored to have worked on a regional AFG application for the Lynchburg Fire Department and an individual AFG application for Richmond Fire Department. RNC LLC is proud to say it partnered again with LFD for its SAFER application, as well as a new client – Prince George’s County Fire Department. Now only one more to wrap up: FP&S!!
